Welcome speech in Branch welcome NEOTERIC 2K14

I got a golden opportunity to host a fresher’s welcome ceremony of chemical engineering branch. The entire script was prepared by me within one day along with other decoration activities. As an organizing batch, arranging such a function would not have been possible without involvement of all students as a single unit. It was a great experience to be a part of the function and this would be a cherishing moment in engineering life for me. So, presenting before you the speech that I delivered----

·        Wings of passion

Set one in motion.

With an adamant desire,

To touch the sky high.

·       To achieve something big,

One should have a strong will.

Though roads aren’t straight

But try for the best.

·       Good evening to one and all present over here.

·       We’ve gathered here to welcome new faces. New faces that we don’t know till now, but wish to know more about them.

·       Two years back, we were the new faces, little nervous, excited and hopeful. With the transient passage of time, we have taken up the responsibilities.

·       We all welcome the new faces to the world of chemical Engineering which is different from others.

·       As every new day arrives with new beginning and endless opportunities, similarly everyone stores within himself a spark of uniqueness and enormous capabilities.

·       In every sphere of life, beginning always remains as the most notable and cherishing moment. So, let’s make this beginning a memorable and glorious one.

·       We wish every fresher to have a great year ahead with lots of achievements and accomplishments and enjoy every moment of life to the fullest.

·       This is a new year, a new beginning and a new journey.

·       Your mind is a garden

Your thoughts are seeds

You can grow flowers

Or you can grow weeds.

·       In the words of Nelson Mandela,” it always seems impossible until it is done.”

·       You don’t have to be great to start, but you’ve to start to be great.

·       The secret of getting ahead is getting started and a journey of thousand miles begins with a single step.

·       We hope that you overcome all obstacles and outshine like a star.
