 Gift of life

Gift of life is everything around,

Just pause for a second and observe,

Look at the beauty surrounding us,

The firm ground over which you’re standing,

Adorned with a green carpet of grass,

With little flowers swaying with the wind,

Insects inhabiting the spread of grass,

While the white clouds float in the

Vast stretch of limitless blue sky,

Butterflies flying from one flower to another,

Birds hum a familiar tune,

Thank the eyes which can witness these all,

And ears absorbing all sounds,

The day draws to the evening and

Finally darkness of night sets in,

Time to be back home,

And reflect on everything before

Retiring for the next morning.
